From policy to practice, we work across Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Europe to strengthen systems that protect children and improve outcomes. Our consultants combine sector- specific knowledge with a pragmatic, risk-aware approach—ensuring our partners operate safely, ethically, and effectively.

Samira Mabrouk

Director

Samira is an organisational development specialist with 20+ years’ experience strengthening organisations across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. As former consultant at Ernst & Young, she has advised on strategy, compliance, and governance for both public and private sector clients. She has led multi-country assessments with PwC tools in the third sector, developed safeguarding frameworks, and supported governments and NGOs on systems reform. Samira holds a Master’s degree in Business Management and Finance from the University of Edinburgh.

Lizzy Hartley

Operations & Administration Manager

Lizzy specialises in finance, logistics, and compliance in the non-profit sector. She has supported child protection programmes with Save the Children and managed grants for education projects across East Africa. At ChildSafe, she oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient delivery and safeguarding compliance. Lizzy holds a BA in Business Administration from York St John University and certifications in charity finance and data protection.

Ingrid Marson

Head of Communications & Partnerships

Ingrid is a communications expert with over a decade experience promoting child-focused causes. She founded Acorn PR, helping major UK charities like Age UK, Mind, and Marie Curie gain national media coverage. She currently volunteers with Time 4 Children, offering emotional support to school pupils, and serves on an NHS board overseeing paediatric heart care. Ingrid holds a First-Class MA in Biology from Oxford University.
